The DC Ranch Gives program provides residents with meaningful opportunities to engage with each other and give back to the broader community. It provides one point of contact for residents, partners, stakeholders, and merchants seeking to assist those in need.
If you are interested in participating or have project ideas please contact Community Engagement Coordinator, Devin Haggerty or 480.538.3544.
DC Ranch Gives is collecting non-perishable food items the whole month of July. The goal is to collect over 1,000 items for hungry Arizonans in south Scottsdale. The Vista del Camino Food Bank provides food boxes and homeless walking bags to Scottsdale residents and persons experiencing homelessness up to 6 times each year. Most needed items are: peanut butter, canned protein (chicken, tuna, spam), canned ravioli, canned fruits (no sugar added or packed in 100% fruit juice), canned vegetables, dry or canned beans, cereal and boxed prepared meals, such as mac and cheese and Hamburger Helper.
Donations can be dropped off to Desert Camp Community Center and The Homestead Community Center during business hours. Monetary donations also accepted; checks must be made out to Scottsdale Community Partners (SCP). Tax receipts available.
