Input on planned park

| Alexandra Duemer

The City of Scottsdale is gathering input on design for a planned park at Desert Camp Drive and Thompson Peak Parkway on both the west and east sides of Reata Wash just north of Copper Ridge School.

City employees presented a conceptual plan for the proposed park and discussed possible improvements and amenities at a public meeting on Thursday, Oct. 25 at The Homestead Community Center.

The park site was originally planned for a tennis court complex; the city has updated the plan with an alternate park concept and would like resident input.

The City of Scottsdale is also gathering input on plans for a proposed “off leash” area for dogs, outside of DC Ranch, on the southwest corner of Hayden Road and Thompson Peak Parkway.
