DC Ranch youth raises money for good cause

| Elizabeth Dankert

Join DC Ranch resident Zachary Prutting, age 12, raise money for children affected by cancer at Zachary’s Zebra Fun Fest on Sunday, Oct. 29.

Zachary’s Zebra Fun Fest is open to all DC Ranch residents and will take place at the Desert Haciendas Park from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. It will feature a bounce house, pizza, face painting, caricatures and music.

This is the Prutting family’s second year raising money for the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children. Last year, they raised $8,000. This year, they’re hoping to reach their goal of $10,000.

The Prutting family was touched when their neighbor, Ava, passed away from neuroblastoma at the age of 4 years old. “The passing of Ava really hit close to home for us and we wanted to help however we could,” said Tony Prutting, Zachary’s father.

Bring the whole family and have fun for a good cause! Can’t attend but would like to help the Prutting’s achieve their goal of $10,000? Please visit donate.azcancerfoundation.org/zachsfunfest to donate.

If you choose to donate via the Arizona Charitable tax-credit, a letter will be mailed for accounting purposes.

The Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children is a 501c non-profit foundation that provides social, emotional and financial support directly to families who are managing the health and well-being of a loved one with pediatric cancer.
