DC Ranch Leadership Development Program Application 2020
DC Ranch is launching a new leadership development program for residents interested in learning more about the community’s governance and operations. The educational series will involve hands-on activities to expose participants to the types of situations they might encounter as a community leadership volunteer.
The sessions will be engaging and provide a solid foundation for those wanting to contribute as a member of a committee, focus group, outreach ambassador, Neighborhood Voting Member or serve on a Board of Directors. It also allows residents to get to know other residents and staff in a collaborative, learning format and establish positive, long-term working relationships.
Each session will include classroom-style instruction and an interactive segment to problem-solve, provide feedback and work as a team. Examples of activities include touring the community, getting a behind-the-scenes look at the Security Command Center, walking with a Community Standards specialist to canvass a neighborhood, attending a community event and inspecting a portion of the paths and trails.
Leadership development graduates will be acknowledged in our community publications, earn special privileges and be honored at a graduation celebration.
Applications for Class 1 are due by Dec. 15, 2019.
To be eligible for the program, the applicant must be at least 21 years of age; a DC Ranch homeowner in good standing; DC Ranch commercial property owner or DC Ranch business owner; be able to meet the attendance requirements; and have a genuine interest in and desire to learn about DC Ranch.
