Strength and Balance is a new class offering on Mondays and Wednesdays designed to work on strengthening and lengthening your muscles. The instructor, Laurie Hegna, will help you work on your core and balance to give you an all-around workout. A portion of the class will be done while seated on a mat. Chairs are optional. Light weights and resistance bands will be used. All levels are welcome. Please bring a mat.
$18 (value of $3 per class) | $5 drop-in fee

About the Instructor: Laurie Hegna began teaching fitness over 10 years ago. She has obtained her 200-hour yoga certificate as well as her group fitness certificate. She believes fitness is to be enjoyed and fun. Hegna’s passion is to see people achieve their fitness goals and feel good about their bodies. She is now certified in Pilates, Barre and water aerobics and teaches at Grayhawk. Hegna resides in Scottsdale with her husband and has four children.
