Meditation is the practice of waking up to your life by paying closer attention to the details of your internal and external environments. It is used successfully to reduce stress and anxiety and increase the richness and joy found in simple everyday things that are often taken for granted. This class will highlight easy-to-follow meditation techniques that participants can take home and practice on their own.
Please bring a yoga mat and any blankets or cushions you may need to sit comfortably on the floor. Desert Camp will provide some yoga blankets.
Instructor Bio: Robert has been studying and practicing yoga, meditation and spiritual development since his early 20’s, both in America and abroad. He is particularly drawn to realizing Presence techniques. He is a certified yoga teacher and additionally knows and practices various energy healing arts including reiki and sound healing and sound meditation.
Robert and his family lived in Bali for 7 years where he taught environmental issues in two international schools and led visitors on spiritual tours to sacred indigenous landscapes, holy sites, and healers. He now does similar tours in the American Southwest.
