New for 2019, DC Ranch introduces the Lifelong Learning Series as a collection of classes to enrich the lives of residents. Join us as we profile different topics and pursue a passion for knowledge.
We start the year with Dr. Christy Alexon, Clinical Associate Professor of Nutrition at ASU. Since 2010 she has been teaching coursework in topics such as advanced macronutrient metabolism, applied food principles, research methods and nutrition across the lifespan to undergraduate and graduate students.
This lecture will focus on foods and diet habits that manage some key concerns in aging. Learn components of an anti-aging diet and how to incorporate these into a meal plan for improved longevity and quality of life.
