Access Your DC Ranch Email

Residents may access their dcranch.com email accounts at http://mail.dcranchnet.com or http://dcranchnet2.mail.everyone.net.

How to Troubleshoot your DC Ranch Email

1. First, Visit other Web sites in order to determine if you are connecting to the Internet. If you are not able to access the Internet, you will need to call your Internet Service Provider's (Century Link or Cox) customer service department for assistance. If your Internet is running slowly, delivery of your email may be delayed, especially if you “pop” your email to Outlook, Outlook Express, Mac Mail or another email program.

2. If you have changed your ISP from Century Link to Cox and are experiencing problems sending e-mail, you need to change the “Outgoing Port” setting from 25 to 2525. The port settings are generally found under the “Advanced” tab located where you configure your email accounts.

3. Click here to check the Everyone.net service status. Everyone.net is the company that hosts DC Ranch's email service. You can check the status of Web mail, SMTP, and POP/IMAP.

4. Log on to DC Ranch Web mail (http://mail.dcranchnet.com or http://dcranchnet2.mail.everyone.net). If you can retrieve and send email from your Web mail account, then your email is working. The problem may lie in the “popping” relay. You can use Web mail to compose, send and receive email in the event you are not able to access your account via Outlook, Outlook Express, Mac Mail, etc. DC Ranch Web mail is accdessible from any computer that has an Internet connection.

5. If your email is not being sent to the email program to which you have chosen to “pop” it, you may require more indepth technical support. In this case it is recommended that you contact the customer support sites related to your email program (e.g. Microsoft or Apple) or a computer IT consultant.
