Community Patrol

Trident Security has been the DC Ranch security provider since June 2007. Trident Security owners John Earl, Dom Boragina, and Rob Pennell have more than 50 years of combined security experience, more than half of which has been spent providing local security services. With regard to DC Ranch, Trident provides around-the-clock patrol of all Ranch residential villages, including conducting perimeter checks that serve as a visible deterrent against crime. Trident observes and reports security breaches, suspicious activity, and property damage. Trident’s around-the-clock access control at five manned gates serves to screen entrants to validate access authorization; control construction and realtor traffic; guide Country Club member, guest and staff entries; and route or store packages for delivery. On a 24-7 schedule, Trident monitors access to unmanned gates and, during the hot months, watches for fires.

Additional services Trident provides are traffic control, including ensuring roadways are clear of debris; snake removal; assistance with wildlife issues; augmenting efforts of the Ranch Association’s maintenance, landscaping and community standards staff; and assisting with community events hosted by the DC Ranch Community Council.

In order to serve residents best, Trident maintains positive relations with equipment maintenance teams such as Park Pro, QuickPass and Qwest; and supports city, county, state and federal agencies in the performance of their duties on the property.

Police & Fire

The Scottsdale Police Department serves the city’s law enforcement agency and is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. DC Ranch is part of District 4 and is under the leadership of Commander Bill Wilton.
