About The Homestead Playhouse

Launched in 2006 by the DC Ranch Community Council, The Homestead Playhouse was created in response to interest in and demand for performing arts programming in and around DC Ranch. Since that time, the Playhouse has produced more than 10 productions, including a variety of musicals.

The vision of The Homestead Playhouse is to create masterpieces together where individuals emerge through the magic of performing arts. Through our “stages,” we create a stage to call home.

The mission of The Homestead Playhouse is to:

  • Create high quality theatre and performance for DC Ranch and surrounding Scottsdale communities.
  • To present theatre and arts programming that is thought provoking, sophisticated, fresh and socially conscious.
  • To engage patrons and performers of all ages and skill levels.
  • To inspire a cultural explosion in Scottsdale and create an artistic legacy within the community.
