Desert Camp locker room remodel and family restroom construction – Jan. 4 to March 18
The long anticipated locker room remodel project at Desert Camp has officially begun. The existing locker rooms will be updated with new flooring, countertops, fixtures and paint. A section of the women’s locker room will be converted into a family restroom that will be accessible from the pool area.

Desert Camp Community Center will remain open throughout the remodel; all regularly scheduled clubs and programs will continue during the project. Limited access to the restrooms will still be available during construction. There will be one restroom for men but no showers; women will have one restroom and two showers. 

Remodel information and updates will be posted on our website and Facebook page and will be available at the Desert Camp Front Desk Reception area at 480.342.7178.

Lobby hours of operation:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday:
7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Pool Hours:
Winter Hours (November-March)
7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Summer Hours (April-October)
6 a.m. to 10 p.m.*

*Fitness Swim (adults only) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 6 to 9 a.m.

Pool heaters are set to 84 degrees (wading pool is on a timer from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is not heated overnight).

Fitness Room Hours:
Monday - Sunday:
5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Basketball & Tennis Court Hours:
6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Personal Trainer Policy:
The Community Council thanks residents for their cooperation in making the fitness room a comfortable and inviting environment for all residents. 

Personal trainers are allowed in the fitness room as an invited guest of a resident the following times:

  • 8 to 11 a.m.
  • 1 to 4 p.m.
  • 7 to 10 p.m.

Personal trainers may train one resident at a time.

Group sessions (more than one resident) are allowed in our outdoor recreation areas ONLY.
